I have owned this sweet ride for the last 20 years. It was shown on the cover of a Hammacher-Schlemmer catalog, described as professionally restored. I had to have it. I had one as a kid. The bike has been ridden only a few times, mostly indoors, never wet, never left outside.
Currently it sits in storage, hoping for a happy new owner. What is it worth to you? The proceeds from this sale will go to supporting research for a cure to paralysis caused by spinal cord injury (Rutgers U.).

I have taken the bike back out of storage, for the purpose of selling it, because it just doesn't get any use. However, I have found a little out of the way place for in my office, and I like the way it looks there, so, while it still doesn't get used, it's now an objet d'art, for a while. It seems I'm having difficulty letting go...
ReplyDeleteso its not for sale anymore then? :(

ReplyDeleteYes, Brad, I know how you feel. It was my dream bike 55 years ago, and I still love the lines of it. It is parked in my living room, a true work of art. I have not been able to give it up. However, if you search the web, you will find others for sale, so you should be able to have the bike of your dreams soon enough. Best of luck...
